The one that started it all and it started … Overnight

The Zeke and Lily Series will always have a special place in my heart because of the place it came from, who is was about and what it meant.

It is the story of two perfect strangers who met because fate decided it to be so. I smile as I write this because neither Zeke nor Lily are perfect. They just happen to be flawed in the perfect ways for each other.

Overnight was the first book I wrote about Zeke and Lily, but it’s the 2nd book in the series. (Once Upon A Beginning I would later add as the prequel.)

Lily Paddington is a sweetheart in her late 20s. She comes from a troubled childhood and suffers from anxiety, insecurities and self-esteem issues. She is as gentle of a soul as can be, but always felt herself to be incomplete, inadequate and unlovable … until she met Zeke.

Zeke Williams is a kind-hearted guy in his early 30s. He comes from a solid upbringing, but one that never taught him how to show his emotions or deal with them. His soul is as loving as can be, but always felt himself to be unappreciated, unfulfilling and insufficient to others … until he met Lily.

He is a gentle Daddy and she is a BabyGirl-at-heart. They’re not tailor-made for each other, but they grow together and they do so quickly. They realize, almost immediately, that what they share in common is the dynamic of love felt so strongly between a Daddy and BabyGirl that the world seems empty without the other in it.

These books have been a labor of love for me and I hope the love of Zeke and Lily is felt by all who read their saga.
